Die casting is a kind of die-casting parts. It is a die-casting mechanical die-casting machine with a casting mold installed, which is used to pour copper, zinc, aluminum or aluminum alloy and other metals heated to liquid into the feed port of the die-casting machine. After die-casting by the die-casting machine, copper, zinc, aluminum parts or aluminum alloy parts with the shape and size limited by the mold are cast. Such parts are usually called die-casting parts.
Now, what are the process principles of die casting structure?
1) The side concave inside the casting shall be eliminated as far as possible to make the die structure simple.
2) The wall thickness of the casting shall be uniform as far as possible. Ribs can be used to reduce the wall thickness and reduce defects such as porosity, shrinkage cavity and deformation of the casting.
3) Try to eliminate deep holes and cavities on castings. Because the thin and small cores are easy to bend and break, the filling and exhaust at the deep cavity are poor.
4) The designed castings shall be convenient for demoulding and core pulling.
5) The uniformity of meat thickness is necessary.
6) Avoid sharp corners.
7) Note the draft angle.
8) Pay attention to the tolerance marking of products.
9) Neither too thick nor too thin.
10) Avoid dead corner chamfering (less can be done).
11) Consider the difficulty of post-processing.
12) Minimize voids in the product.
13) Avoid peninsular and local too weak shapes.
14) Neither too long formed hole nor too long formed column is suitable.
