The maintenance cycle of aluminum die-casting equipment varies depending on factors such as equipment model, working environment, and production intensity, and can generally be divided into the following stages:
Daily maintenance
Cleaning work
After production is completed every day, the equipment must be cleaned. Clean the aluminum shavings, oil stains, and dust from the die-casting machine body, mold surface, injection chamber, and surrounding areas. If aluminum shavings accumulate too much, they may enter the moving parts of the equipment, leading to increased wear and tear; Oil pollution may affect the heat dissipation and electrical performance of equipment.
Simple inspection
Check the levels of hydraulic oil and lubricating oil. Low liquid level may affect the normal operation of equipment, for example, insufficient hydraulic oil can cause unstable pressure in the hydraulic system, affecting the injection action. At the same time, it is necessary to check whether there is any leakage in the cooling water pipeline to ensure that the cooling system of the equipment is working properly, as the equipment generates a large amount of heat during the die-casting process, and cooling system failure may cause overheating and damage to the equipment.

Lubrication and maintenance
Lubrication of the moving parts of the equipment is a key focus of weekly maintenance. The guide rails and sliders of the mold clamping mechanism, as well as the piston rods of the injection mechanism, need to be lubricated with appropriate lubricants according to the requirements of the equipment manual. Insufficient lubrication can lead to increased friction between components, reducing the service life of the equipment.
Mold inspection
Check whether there is aluminum debris accumulation on the parting surface of the mold, clean the cooling channel of the mold, and ensure good cooling effect. It is also necessary to check whether the moving parts of the mold, such as the slider and ejector pin, move smoothly. If there is any jamming, they should be cleaned and lubricated in a timely manner. Because after a week of frequent use, these parts of the mold are prone to problems, affecting product quality and demolding effect.
Monthly maintenance
Hydraulic system inspection
Check the quality of the hydraulic oil for discoloration, turbidity, or odor. If the oil quality deteriorates, it may affect the performance of the hydraulic system and needs to be replaced in a timely manner. At the same time, check the working status of components such as pressure sensors and solenoid valves in the hydraulic system to ensure accurate pressure control and reliable operation.

Electrical system inspection
Inspect the electrical system of the equipment, including checking for loose wire connections and signs of overheating in electrical components. Clean the dust inside the electrical control cabinet, as dust accumulation may cause electrical faults such as short circuits, poor contacts, etc.
Annual maintenance
Comprehensive maintenance
A comprehensive maintenance of the equipment is required once a year. This includes inspecting the mechanical structure of the equipment, such as checking whether the pull rod of the clamping mechanism is deformed, and whether the components of the injection mechanism are severely worn. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble all moving parts, and replace severely worn components.
System calibration
Calibrate various parameters of the equipment, such as clamping force, injection force, injection speed, etc. These parameters may deviate after long-term use, affecting product quality. Calibration can restore the equipment to its working state. At the same time, inspect and test the safety devices of the equipment to ensure safe operation.
